It's a piece of modern art, and in my opinion it'a a fabulous one. This mutant set of traffic lights was designed by French sculptor Pierre Vivant in 1998, and was originally installed on a spot where a large plane tree had grown, towards the western end of Canary Wharf near Westferry Circus.
